Confused -- I use Vimeo for video hosting, and embed the images on my site. When I do this on WPMU with the New Yorker theme, it seems to completely strip out the code.
    Any explanation or suggestions?

    The code pasted in was
    <object classid="clsid:d27cdb6e-ae6d-11cf-96b8-444553540000" width="400" height="300" codebase="http://download.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=6,0,40,0"><param name="allowfullscreen" value="true" /><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always" /><param name="src" value="http://vimeo.com/moogaloop.swf?clip_id=8167331&server=vimeo.com&show_title=1&show_byline=1&show_portrait=0&color=&fullscreen=1" /><embed type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="400" height="300" src="http://vimeo.com/moogaloop.swf?clip_id=8167331&server=vimeo.com&show_title=1&show_byline=1&show_portrait=0&color=&fullscreen=1" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true"></embed></object>

    Seems completely gone!

WPmu strips out any script or object codes for security messures, you need this little plugin lessfilters enabled on each blog if you'd like to allow scripts and object codes.
