    Hi Milo,

    Firstly, your themes are a true reflection of your passion - it warms my soul to see a creative thinker at work in so many more ways than just the beauty. The little things that count so much; the nuts- and bolts stuff. You're an architect of vision, for sure!!!

    Now, then...some guidance required, please.

    1. I'm a "can-sorta-help-myself" blogger that find the following error a bit out of place, since I'm using the Speed Theme and you'll note from the email message notification that it refers to another theme (which I have not uploaded and I suspect is in the hard coding somewhere).

    "A user tried to go to http://www.get-the-message.co.za/blog/blog/wp-content/themes/lAXvII/images/005.swf and received a 404 (page not found) error. It wasn't their fault, so try fixing it. They came from http://www.get-the-message.co.za/blog/"

    2. I would also prefer the layout exactly as per your Speed Theme Demo, if you'd be so kind as to point me in the right direction. I quite like the orange trim and graphics of the current, but the layout to be horizontal instead of vertical.

    Many thanks

    Error is system files, sorry, pls add Speed instead of lAXvII in side the flash call like so:
    .../wp-content/themes/Speed/images/005.swf

    Speed with the new version is currently in testing mode, to be released later this month.

    Thanks, Milo! No worries - I know you're a VERY busy person.

    Your suggestion did solve the problem to some degree, but it seems the major part of the issue may be reference to a skewed directory, like so:

    /blog/blog/wp-content/themes/speed/images/005.swf

    I have tried numerous things and since I am not getting bad link errors anymore, it seems to be fixed, like so:

    var fo = new SWFObject("http://www.get-the-message.co.za/wp-content/themes/speed/images/005.swf", "005", "150", "100", "9.0.0","0x000000");

    No idea whether I just short-circuited something, so please advise if my "fix" seems irregular.

    Thanks,
    Think Tank

    Works perfect at it seems ;P
    How is your wordpress/dir listing at your server?
    files/your url/blog/
    or files/your url/
    as it seems wordpress is installed at root of
    get-the-message.co.za
    (indicated by your 005.swf reference, no subdirs over there)
    but the blog url is
    get-the-message.co.za/blog
    this might force some errors, particularly with plugins.

    btw:

    "a VERY busy person"

    how do you know that ;D

    btw: to get better post titles on frontpage you can add this to the style sheet
    at line 237

    #contentmiddle .lead-image-wrapper h2 a,#middle .lead-image-wrapper h2 a,#r_sidebar .lead-image-wrapper h2 a {color:#fff;text-decoration:none;background:#000;}

    as stated it will add a black background to the h2 tags for better visibility ;P

    Yeah, I guess I'm stuffing around a bit but I wanted to get some body to the theme first before I updated settings in WordPress for url get-the-message.co.za (with core files at /blog).

    Let's just say that I have no doubt that you also burn the midnight oil just like me. Creatives, with a passion for what they do, seldom give up or give in until that perfect effect works! That be me taking a wild guess? ;o>

    #contentmiddle .lead-image-wrapper h2 a,#middle .lead-image-wrapper h2 a,#r_sidebar .lead-image-wrapper h2 a {color:#fff;text-decoration:none;background:#000;}

    I took a shot at it, and yes, it has its merits, thanks. The h2 is "compressed" for some reason when doing the background and it then just seems to look l've done a bad line height "Friday Job". The background also detracts from the image posted, which makes it look like a "Friday Job...with a hangover" ;o}

    In the end I opted for doing h2 in color:#909090 and this seems to work better as it will be difficult to find a clean, happy color medium - specially with the images I'm posting.

    Take a squiz: http://www.get-the-message.co.za/blog/

    Also fixed RSS and email RSS which were swapped around under heading "Subscribe" on front page. Just swapped the code around.

    Thanks a LOT for your help - I LOVE technology that enable you to assist across continents!!

    Now I've just have to get the "Top Video/video of the week" sorted.
