   Hi Milo,
   I have a category, "announcements", that I do not want included in the slider --

   www.cac.tl

   wp 3.2
   php 5
   latest version of Reds, just downloaded

   I have set the option to the "featured" category. I still get announcements.

   Changed the wp query in featured.php to

   <?php
   $my_query = new WP_Query('showposts=4&cat=-10&offset=0');
   while ($my_query->have_posts()) : $my_query->the_post();$do_not_duplicate = $post->ID;
   ?>

   I'm stumped.

   ok this is a little weird.

   I just noticed that in the slider, it is excluding the posts, but grabbing the titles, from the "notes" category. (Announcement 1, announcement 2, etc. are sample posts in notes, category 10.) The content is not there but the titles are matched up with others posts...
