   Hi Milo,
   I had installed Bruce ver 3.17.3 and find it very cool,clean and nice buddypress theme. I have problem to get the image display in featured and slider when my images are located in external website. I don't have any problem when the images are located in my WP media gallery.

   Please let me know if need to specific any custom field in order to get the images work?

   No custom filed needed,
   script scans for uploaded attachments (images) of each post,

   Hi Milo,

   Please correct me if i am wrong, the script only scan the uploaded images can't display images from any external site?

   If that the case, any method to have such function to display images from external site?

   I just pasted the code from the Display the last image,,,,to the functions.php, clicked save and now my blog will not open at all! I'll try changing theme, until then can you please direct me what to do? www.foodloverswebsite.com I should have known better to do that...I was tired and not paying attention!

   @clouda9 delete the Bruce theme via ftp, then all will work again

   Okay now I am about ready to cry....I should not have messed with the files. I cannot see the Bruce theme anywhere in my ftp files. Is there anyway to just uninstall and install the functions.php?? All I did was add that snippet of code, not install the Bruce theme. So sorry for this. If you cannot help I understand.

   MILO! I found the snippet of code I added to the BT Extended functions.php...deleted it via my CPanel and all is up and running. Whew did I learn a lesson today....not to mess with stuff I really don't understand!

   Good to know,
   pls be aware that this is a Bruce snippet (hence the Bruce thread),
   doesn't work with Bt Extended ;P
