    Hi Milo,

    Could you please indicate how to interprate the Index.php if I want to change
    directories for my WordPress installation. Thanks!

    Normally, the procedure below would work fine. The Mojo Theme's Index.php is,
    however, coded differently and despite some trial runs, I couldn't figure how to
    accomplish what I set out to do.

    If it is going to create more trouble than it's worth, I'd rather re-install at the root.

    Codex Extract:
    "Open your root directory's index.php file in a text editor
    Change the following and save the file. Change the line that says:
    require('./wp-blog-header.php');
    to the following, using your directory name for the WordPress core files:
    require('./wordpress/wp-blog-header.php');
    Login to the new location. It might now be http://example.com/wordpress/wp-admin/"

    My Dear,
    you are talking about the wp application index,
    just reread this line
    "Open your root directory's index.php file in a text editor"
    those files are core index files not touched at any point by theme files.

    If you want to install wordpress at the root, either do so by choosing it in cpanel with an "/" as the install path to indicate the root,
    whereas WordPress will be installed at the root instead of your current install at /blog/ = folder (of living wordpress directory).

    If you do it manually, you have to move all folders via ftp from the blog dir to the root of your server, possible paths:
    /public_html/
    /html/

    Not to get familiar or anyting, but...Yes, Dear.

    Some much needed rest later...FIXED!

    Just for everyone's benefit:

    I actually had everything in place and installed correctly right from the start...except for one error that caused all my troubles. I had copied the theme's index.php to /public_html/ and I just kept on looking to fix the error in the wrong place. Go figure.

    Thanks for sparking a renewed process of elimination, Milo. Wouldn't have found my error without your guidance!!!

    PS: Trust me, people - ADHD and Hyperfocus is not for sissies. It's my biggest gift and worst enemy all at once!
