I’m fairly new to buddypress but am I missing something? Is the “Join Group” in the group directory listing a standard feature or is it an addon? If it’s an addon. can someone please kindly point me in the right direction? Thanks. I’m currently using the “Speed” template. I’ve set up a subscriber account to test the theory that I was only seeing it from an admin point of view to no avail. As a general subscriber, this is what I see for public groups:

This is taken while logged in. No “join group” button there. I looked at the markup and didn’t even see any info there either. Unfortunately, I’m rather new to Buddypress so finding the right hooks for this in the default template is kinda flying over my head….

Basically, none of my users are able to join the Public groups unless they're invited. Thanks for your help.

    Sorry about that.

goo.gl/hjJAx (masked for search engines :)
    Wordpress Version: 3.2.1
    Buddypress Version: 1.5.1
    Theme Version: 3.17.18

Even while logged in as a basic subscriber, Join Group Button does not appear. Thanks.
