I am receiving a billion e-mails concerning bad links : "A user tried to go to http://www.mydomain//my_blog/my_blog/wp-content/themes/btEX/BTextended/images/feed.gif and received a 404 (page not found) error. It wasn't their fault, so try fixing it.

Obviously the problem is related to this : http://www.mydomain//my_blog/my_blog/wp-content/
I have no idea why it is two times "my_blog" can anyone kindly help me here ? I would very much like to move forward... but I am having a hard time understanding all this...

    Thank you for your help.
    best wishes,

    Douglas

Your problem is already answered at this thread.

And the url is set via the folder structure, seems like you uploaded bt EX and inside the BTExtended folder, move the BTExtended folder one up,
    see url for reference:
    .../my_blog/wp-content/themes/bt EX/BTextended/style.css
