    Hi,

    first congratz and thank you for this really beautiful theme...did look through LOADS of themes and also at the moment most of my page incorporating the blog is still "hand-coded" - but fog was the only one to convince me even after some time gone by and which will lead to complete "migration" to wordpress now.

    There are two things though that are somehow bothering me...perhaps it's intended though?
    - in the general blog-view the columns are on the left and on the right side of the content. When changing into single-post-view both columns suddenly are on the right side of the content...and so if you change between both views keep on changing all the time which at least I (and some of my readers) find quite irritating. Well one can live with it if need be - but somehow can't fully believe this is a feature and not a bug? Am I wrong?
    - in the single-post-view in the righternmost column the about widget suddenly is "lost"

    all in all great theme anyways though - just would love it even more if these two things would be "different"

    1. it's a feature not a bug, you can adjust this by moving the left sidebar call before the closing tag of the #id main in single php template

    2. about is shown only on frontpage, you can adjust this by removing the if clause tags around

    also a probably "stupid" question...but perhaps easy to answer for the creator of the theme:

    when I look at my blog with firefox on monitors with pretty high resolution, the picture somehow isnt scaled (though it would still have the "reserves" to do it to that size) while e.g. in Internet Explorer it is done as expected.
    Strange thing is, that your showcase-fog or eg. the newvox.org site fog-theme do work perfectly (i.e. scale the image) also in firefox. Did a comparison of the style.css to mine but didnt find any differences there explaining that differing behaviour. So pretty lost how this could be.

    The tipps concerning original question worked btw :) - very happy with the theme!

    Check if the background img is centered like this: 50% 0

    Sorry for probably being thick but I am not perfectly sure I know the right context for your answer:

    you mean that line in style.css?
    body {margin: 0;padding: 0;background: #000 url(images/bg.jpg) no-repeat top center;}

    as it was in your "original" download package (and is @newvox.org and your showcase site).

    yes, this is line to use and alter, use it this way:

    body {margin: 0;padding: 0;background: #000 url(images/bg.jpg) no-repeat 50% 0;}

    thank you but sadly didn't really change anything...IE still works and Firefox still shows the picture not adapted to screen-size (btw can provide screenshots if they help anything?). Did clear browser-cache and everything; also developer tools in IE show the changed style.css line in effect.

    any other ideas? As I said, strange thing is that your fog-showcase(and newvox.org) somehow work right in my firefox though the css isnt really different in the end. Btw my resolution where the problem is showing is 1600*1050.

    Strange behaviour, works in ie rather than in fox,
    might be caused by fox' cache,
    please check ccleaner if you're using windows,
    helpful software that cleans garbage and temporary cache files.

    sorry to report but ccleaner didn't change anything.
    You using the latest fog-version for your showcase or an older one? Still think it has something to do with probably one small difference between my theme-version (which is unmodded except for the things mentioned in this thread) and the one of the showcase/newvox-site. Or any other ideas?
