Sure it's possible, if you know to work with CSS, as all aspects are controlled via the stylesheet.

Why not check your dashboard?
link: wolczyn.drumsmylife.com/wp-admin/index.php
or the settings page?
link: wolczyn.drumsmylife.com/wp-admin/themes.php?page=panel.php

Copy & paste from the Ice settings page:

Slider image

Works auto, will load specified image with custom field.
Just add the key "lead_image" and value your "image url" for the post,
then the slider will load this image.
Note: image size should be 1200px X 400px, anything smaller will kill the look.

Apparently the functions file adds another ul in front of the widget area,
to solve this you have two ways: either via CSS or via functions file.

CSS, add this to your stylesheet at very bottom:

#sidebar ul{list-style:none;margin:5px 0;padding:0;border:0;}
#sidebar li{margin:0;padding:3px 0;background:url(images/cat.gif) no-repeat right center;}
#sidebar li a,#sidebar li a:visited{color:#333;text-decoration:none;}
#sidebar li a:hover{color:#ccc;text-decoration:none;}
#sidebar ul ul{list-style:none;margin:5px 0;padding:0;border:0;}

functions.php file

look for this line in the functions file:

if ( function_exists('register_sidebars') )
register_sidebars(2, array(
'before_widget' => '<div id="%1$s" class="widget %2$s">',
'after_widget' => '</ul ></div>',
'before_title' => '<h2>',
'after_title' => '</h2><ul >',

and replace it with this

if ( function_exists('register_sidebars') )
register_sidebars(2, array(
'before_widget' => '<div id="%1$s" class="widget %2$s">',
'after_widget' => '</div>',
'before_title' => '<h2>',
'after_title' => '</h2>',

however it's better to start with the CSS method.

Hello Milo.
I love your themes!
I am using the "ice" theme for our site, but am having problems when I add a widget to the sidebar.
If you go to the site, http://www.thecripps.net/ben, you will see that in all of the widgets I've added, the items are indented. The original widgets (Archives, Blogroll) didn't have this problem - only when I add a widget.
I've tried tweeking different lines of the style.css, but haven't found the trick yet.
Can you help me? I don't want the items indented nearly so much.
Thank you,
Ben

hi Shacon,

thanks for the kind words,

Best Topics is an inbuilt tag function in the Ice theme,
it will show auto your post tags by use count,
ie if your various posts has same/similar tags then tag titles will show up there
along with other tags, see example.
basically you just have to tag your posts via the post admin panel

PS: pls see my about page that I am in fact a female =D

Greetings Milo from sunny California. You sir are one very talented individual. I absolutely love your designs. The best creativity for WP that I have ever seen, hands down. I have just become addicted to blogging for the first time and am running WP 2.7, with your ICE Theme installed. Over time and with luck and some help, I will be able to improve my site http://www.newvox.org as well as myself.

I do have a question though about it. In the footer of Ice, there is an area called Best Topics.which is currently 'empty'. Would you mind please explaining to me how I can get some sort of content to be visible in that location? What .php file and lines to look at and what to find and replace. That sort of thing. Or can it be accomplished another method? Like I implied above, Iam verynew to all this therefore, please be gentle and use 'kid-speak' with me.

Thank You for your time and hopefully a reply.

oh and one more question if it is not too much. Is there anyway that I can put a widget into the footer? I would like to put that meta widget into the bottom middle protion of the footer. It is not a big deal to me but thought I would ask. If it is not too difficult; otherwise, I don't really need it down there it was just something i was thinking on trying out but had no clue where to start.

Perfect, thank you very much Milo for the help and the quick response. As for the credit that was going to be the second part of my question. I was going to ask if you could post the code you would like to have in the footer as credit. The code that is distributed with this theme does not contain a valid web address. The original code pointed to http://milo.peety-passion.com/ and that site does not come up (which many of your themes I found at http://themes.wordpress.net have that same address). That was the only reason I had taken it out. It took a little bit of searching but I was able to find your site here and figured I would ask you about the images and a new credit link/code. So if it wouldn't be any trouble, if you could just post a snipet of code you would like me to put back into the footer for your credit I would be happy to insert it. Thanks again for the help, I wouldn't have thought to look for opacity.

That's the opacity rule in the stylesheet:

a img{border:.08em solid #000;padding:.077em;filter:alpha(opacity=50); -moz-opacity:0.5;opacity:0.5; -khtml-opacity:0.5;}a img:hover{border:.08em solid #ccc;opacity:1;}

Adjust or remove to your needs.

Also add proper credits:

Credit for template designers are usually listed in the sidebar or footer and it is against distribution or copyright regulations to remove a credit for a design you did not create or purchase.

I have recently started using your ICE 3.17 theme on my website (www.joshandcolleen.com) because it is very clean and I like the fluid layout. However, I also use Nextgen Gallery to display my pics and when I use your theme my pics look very washed out or faded. I am unsure as to what is causing this but it does not do this with any of the other themes I have used. Do you have any ideas for me to try, I would really like to get the true quality of my pics to display and use your theme. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
